Nope – credit scores are not free.
But reports are free – and always be free at
    annualcreditreport.com

After you know that your reports are in pristine condition, you can get your score from Equifax.com for about 8 bucks.
Remember: major lenders like FHA do not go by score.
They view your reports in detail and make their own decisions.
A score merely gives you a guide on how you are doing.
Don’t sweat the score – sweat the reports and how to maintain top notch credit.
Such as paying your credit cards in full each month.

You may get your free credit REPORT for free from one of the following credit reporting agencies: Equifax, Experian, TransUnion. You are legally entitled to one free credit report each year. Checking your credit score is usually not free. And when you do sign up for your free report, make sure to unsubscribe before your trial period ends if you don’t wish for your credit card to get charged. Hope this helped. All the best.

    Miss America,

All of the credit reporting agencies charge for your credit scores (a big scam in my opinion). However, some of the subscription based “free credit report” websites do provide you with free credit scores if you enroll in a trial. All you have to do is cancel the trial asap to avoid any fees and you can get access to your scores for free.

Lots of websites offer one or more scores for free with a 30 day trial. I listed a page on my website as a source of info as these offers change frequently.

Just remember to cancel asap so you don’t end up paying for your free credit score.

credit-report-score.10001mb.com – try this site. I use it to monitor my credit and also cleaned off some bad items from my credit report. You can apply for free initial plan and get your scores and reports for free.
