ok so i am trying to find out my credit score but all these places claim its “free” but theres always a catch or you have to use a credit card or debit card to pay for one. anyone know of a true legit free credit report? also how do the scores go about? the score numbers i dont understand, what is a good score?the highest the lowest the average. thanks

Annualcreditreport.com gives you a free credit report each year from each bureau although they do not include the score. in order to get the score no matter where you go, you’ll have to pay.

Reports are free once a year from all three credit bureaus, score you must pay for.
As far as score goes, FICO reports from 300 to 850 the higher your score the better.

Yes they all try to sell you a free trial to something or something that will eventually cost you ~ JUST SAY NO to that and you can go on.

you cant get a credit score for free-you will only be able to look at the information in your file.
